Monday
*6:30pm -- "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns" lecture at MOCCA, given by Peter Sanderson, as part of the “1986: The Year that Changed Comics”
*Zaha Hadid exhibit at the Guggenheim (opened on Saturday, but sue us, we missed it.)

*10pm - Michael Showalter at Rififi, 332 E. 11th St., between First and Second Aves
*Drive-In Movies at the Rock opens tonight, through Friday
*Also opening: The Omen.

Wednesday
*6:30pm - School of Pixar: Student films of famous Pixar employees, including John Lasseter, who is adorable. At MoMA, part of the TOMORROWLAND film festival.

Thursday
*11pm - Brian's Harold Group, Tantrum, has a Cagematch at the UCB
*Cars opens!, along with Prairie Home Companion
*SketchFest (Sketch Comedy Festival) runs all weekend with some pretty funny sounding groups

Friday
*The New Cars with Blondie (Road Rage Tour) at Jones Beach

Saturday
*Big Apple BBQ Block Party at Madison Sq Park (through Sunday)
*Asia in NY festival (@ the Asia Society: 725 Park and 70th)
*MOCCA Art Festival (with the potentially v. cool lecture: 2:10-3:25pm - Art of Cartooning and the New Yorker)

Sunday
