Heathen

This Sunday at the Met, just around church-goin' time, will be a movie on the Popol Vuh and Mayan Creation myths. I suppose St. John the Divine is closer to my house, but at the end of the day, I know where I stand. And that is, firmly on the side of the pyramids.

Let me know if you want to come too, there's going to be a lecture later on blood sacrifice. (This is all in conjunction with the exhibit, Treasures of the Sacred Maya Kings, which is very good.)
